While we do our best to make every dog look like a show dog, the safety and well-being of your loved one is our top priority. We keep ourselves educated on the best practices to maintain proper canine skin and coat health using research from the AKC (American Kennel Club), NDGAA (National Dog Groomers Association of America), and ISCC (International Society of Canine Cosmetology). We maintain both the AKC S.A.F.E. and AKC Professional Groomer Certifications while following the latest recommended procedures.
After your consultation, you will be given an appointment slot as well as a short education session on how to care for your dog between visits. We will create a plan specific to each pet according to the needs of their breed with no hidden fees or additional charges. We are committed to using the best products and techniques available to suit each coat without cutting corners.
The Basics
The Bath
Pampered with Quality Products
We start by cleaning the ears and trimming/filing the nails. Cotton balls are used to prevent water from entering the ear canal. We then bathe your dog in a cleansing shampoo according to the breed. This will strip the skin and coat of dirt, dander, and oils.

Conditioners and natural oils are used as necessary and must sit for 5-15 minutes to replace what was removed with the shampoo. While often overlooked, this step is crucial to the long term health and softness of your pet's skin and coat.
Blow/Fluff Drying
Fluffy, Flat, or a combination
The drying process is dependent on the coat type. Most curly coats will be fluff dried using a combination of high velocity drying and fluff drying to straighten the curls, while drop coats require a lighter touch following the growth of the hair

All double-coated breeds will be conditioned and dried with the aim of "deshedding" the undercoat, while breeds with the RSPO2 gene will be stripped and carded to maintain a proper top coat.
